Directions

• From Exeter take the A30 - signed Okehampton and Bodmin (about 2 hours travelling time so nearly there!)
• Shortly after Bodmin take the A391 left to St Austell - about 8 miles - (The Eden Project is sign-posted from this road just after Bugle)
• At traffic lights at a T junction, turn Right towards Truro and Town Centre (A390)
• At the first roundabout go more or less straight over, following signs to Mevagissey and Town Centre
• As you approach the next roundabout get into the outside lane and go straight over the roundabout (the inside lane goes into Asda - cash dispensers and cheap petrol but cards only - no cashier)
• As you approach the next roundabout (McDonald’s) get into the inside lane to go Left towards Mevagissey - Care – first ½ mile is 30 mph
• This is the B3273 and for about 5 miles will take you through London Apprentice and then some pretty woods and past caravan sites. You then pass Pentewan village and caravan site on your left (I can see the sea!) and go up a wiggly hill with the sea behind you on your left
• At the top of the hill are crossroads – we recommend you turn Right towards Portmellon / Gorran Haven / Lost Gardens of Heligan
• (Mevagissey is just ahead but it is difficult to drive through during summer months being mainly two way traffic but single track. Then once you have negotiated the traffic going the other way and the pedestrians, you may find the road in Portmellon flooded if there is a spring tide or a SE/Easterly wind – so you then have to retrace your steps and follow this route!)
• Stay on this road and you are nearly at Wisteria (6 miles) - but here are some highlights. After driving for…….
  • 1 mile – find the Lost Gardens of Heligan on the left
  • 2 miles – pass sign to Crown Inn at St Ewe on right
  • 3 miles – over crossroads with sign to Lancallan Farm on left
  • 3.7 miles – sign to Tregarton Park on the right
  • 5 miles – go through village of Gorran (PO/General Store and Pub on your right)
  • 5.2 miles - sign says Portmellon/Gorran Haven
  • 5.3 miles - turn Right to Gorran Haven. Follow road down the hill until you see, on your right, the GORRAN HAVEN PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY sign – take the first turning Right, almost immediately after the sign and Right again into Trelispen Park. Wisteria is No.4, which is the second bungalow on your Right - please park on the hard standing.
